Providing a friendly, straightforward and reliable service to all areas of South Australia.

I was raised on our family property in the Adelaide Hills. My father grew up on Kangaroo Island and was a Detective Sergeant at the Major Crime Investigation Branch. I have always had a keen interest in law and Psychology. After graduating from St Peters Collegiate Girls School I completed a double degree in Psychology and Law at the University of Adelaide.

On completion of my degrees, I was employed by the Office of Director of Public Prosecutions and then by Nicholls Gervasi, as a General Practitioner specialising in Criminal Law and Civil Matters.

I then worked at Bennett Legal as a General Practitioner for over 13 years, at which time Mr John Bennett made the decision to retire, and I subsequently decided to open my own practice based in the Adelaide Hills, close to my home and young family.

Being a solicitor, raising two young children and my love for horses and livestock I understand the time restraints of the busy modern lifestyle. I am proud to offer a personalised service, catering to my client’s needs by offering both a mobile service, throughout the Adelaide Hills, Metropolitan Adelaide and Kangaroo Island or consultation at my private Adelaide Hills office.

I enjoy helping people and providing professional but personal service to all my clients. The Florance name is prominent on Kangaroo Island and the community values and work-ethic associated with Kangaroo Island have been instilled in me through my upbringing. I often facilitate information sessions with local community groups and with my family and am involved in local community sporting clubs.

Although experienced in most facets of General Legal Practice, I have a particular passion for assisting my clients with their Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Medical Powers of Attorney/Advance Care Directives. With my experience in Criminal Law, I am highly qualified to appear before the court and assist my clients with Police matters to ensure they are aware of their rights and responsibilities and are able to make informed decisions.

I am admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia and the High Court of Australia. I am a member of the Law Society of South Australia and have appeared in the Federal Court of South Australia, Family Court of Australia, Supreme Court of South Australia, the District Court of South Australia and the Magistrate Courts across South Australia.

In my limited spare time, I enjoy spending time with my young family, horse riding, fishing and breeding sheep and goats.
